Link up the above cruises for a leisurely trip along the whole length of the Wey. Catch a film at the Odeon in Guildford – they have a mooring right by the cinema! Stepping Stones may need to turn around at St Catherine’s lock if water levels are high due to height restrictions at Broadford Bridge which is situated 3 miles from the end of the navigation at Godalming.

A day’s cruising on the River Wey takes you to the Basingstoke Canal, made up of 32miles of mostly rural canal, ideal to get away from it all. Due to very low bridges our boats can only cruise as far as Farnborough Wharf Bridge, approximately 17 miles along the Basingstoke Canal.  The locks are manned and only open on certain days, booking is essential and an additional licence is required.

Places of Interest: Brookwood war cemetery, H G Wells’ tripod sculpture from War of the Worlds, Farnborough air museum.
